Since 2001 Martin works and researches actively in the field of business innovation, design and technology. Currently, he’s Head of Experience Design at Deloitte Digital Spain and Founder of the global trends newsletter ▅▅ stuff (http://youstsuff.me).
During the past years, he’s worked as Senior Strategy & Innovation Planner at OMD Madrid, Digital & Innovation Strategist in communication and marketing at McCANN WORLDGROUP Madrid and New York being previously Account Director at Werbewelt Interactive in Stuttgart/Germany.
As both Strategist and Account Director he has worked on brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, Movistar, BBVA, Yellow Pages, Verizon, Hugo Boss, MSD and Benetton in Madrid, New York, Stuttgart/Germany and Treviso/Italy and helped some of them win some awards at festivals like the Cannes Cyber Lions, New York Festivals, FIAP, the One Show and Red Dot.
Martin holds a diploma in “Communications Design” of the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart/Germany, a Master of Arts in “Interaction Design” at the University of Portsmouth/UK and an Executive MBA in “Innovation & Creativity in Business Management” at the EOI Business School in Madrid/Spain.
Right before finishing his studies he was awarded a one year scholarship at FABRICA – Benetton’s Research and Development Centre in Italy – to work in the Interaction Department doing research in the field of network driven video communication platforms and mobile applications. His work has been shown at ICFF New York, 100% Design Tokyo and Design Biennale St.Etienne.
He’s been invited to speak at conferences such as “Experience Fighters”, “Damn I’m Research”, “Let’s talk” in Santiago de Chile, “CAMP” in Lima/Perú, the Online Marketing Expo (OMExpo) in Madrid, and he’s held classes at the EOI Business School Madrid, International Institute of Design (IED Madrid) or EAE Business School Madrid (EAE), amongst others.
Besides being specialized in user interaction design, information architecture and the development of web concepts, Martin is the author of the eBook ON FOR OFFS.
